What Keeps You from Leaving A Job You Hate?
According to a 2019 Gallup Poll, 45% of American adults working full time or part time, are not satisfied with their jobs. The pandemic is causing many professionals to rethink their career paths. With millions unemployed, should you quit your job right now or should you hold tight to what you have?
In this interactive and informative session, Mari J. Perez will review the most common factors that impact job satisfaction. She will present a road map to help you navigate the most important variables to consider when making important career decisions.

Online Event Information
As we receive registrations to this event, we will collect email addresses of attendees. As the event date gets closer, we will be sending out the Zoom link for the event via email. Along with this information, we will send out a guide on how to gain the most out of the session.
Attendees will have the ability to chat with each other just like you would in an onsite networking event. We plan to allocate 15-20 minutes of the event to online moderated networking.
To make the networking event even more interesting, we are imagining now that the event is scheduled online, we could have the presence of attendees from many parts of the world. This should add some fun and interesting aspects of interactions to all of us participating in the event.
Regarding Coronavirus COVID-19
The Mentoring Club is monitoring guidance about the Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic on a daily basis.
With the spread of COVID-19 in many parts of the world including the Bay Area/Silicon Valley where we are based out of and originally planned on conducting this event, we are moving this onsite event to completely online.
We support the lockdown/social distancing response to the crisis geared towards flattening the COVID-19 curve (slowing the spread of the virus) and helping our healthcare workers and systems manage their services and prevent them from experiencing enormous stress and potential collapse.
We encourage everyone to exercise the following personal protective protocol to ensure that we limit our exposure and risk to the virus: practice social distancing, eat healthy foods and supplements, get restorative sleep, and find creative ways to exercise indoors and follow your specific location’s official directives for exercising outdoors. We hope everyone stays calm and informed. Avoid panic, and most of all, enjoy the journey of learning despite the challenges of COVD-19.
